Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya has called for strategic adjustments to the national budget to tackle current economic challenges.

Speaking at the Sri Lanka Economic and Investment Summit 2025 in Colombo, she said recovery from recent devastation depends on maintaining economic stability and resilience. 

The Prime Minister emphasised that implementing effective policies and ensuring proper allocation of funds are crucial. 

She added that without creating the right environment for investment, Sri Lanka will struggle to rebuild and achieve long-term development goals.
