The case filed against former Minister Harin Fernando over an alleged election law violation has been postponed until 6 January by Badulla Magistrate Nujith de Silva.

The case stems from an incident on 11 November, 2024, when Fernando allegedly had a heated exchange with police while campaigning for the last general election in Badulla.
