Minister of Foreign Affairs Vijitha Herath stressed the need to maintain safe, orderly, regular, and rights-based migration.
He made this statement via a recorded video message delivered on 26 November at the High-Level Segment of the 115th Session of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Council.
The session, which took place in Geneva from 26 to 28 November, consisted of discussions based on the theme "Regular Migration Pathways: A Global Call for Action".
