Lieutenant General Nilantha Premaratne, the 26th Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, met President Anura Kumara Dissanayake at the Presidential Secretariat today (05).

This was his first official meeting with the President since assuming duties as Army Commander.

During the meeting, the President congratulated Lieutenant General Premaratne on his appointment, while the two exchanged commemorative mementoes.
