The Department of Meteorology Sri Lanka reports a significant contrast in minimum temperatures across Sri Lanka today (25).

Nuwara Eliya recorded the lowest temperature at 7.8°C, with other central areas such as Bandarawela (14.0°C), Badulla (17.5°C), and Katugastota (19.7°C) also experiencing cool conditions.

Warmer temperatures were recorded in coastal and northern regions, with Mullaitivu at 27.4°C, Colombo at 26.2°C, and Galle at 25.9°C.
