Eight Dansals were suspended for failing to meet health and safety standards, the PHI Union confirmed. 

Seventeen others were allowed to operate after complying with guidelines. 

PHIs monitored Dansals across the island on Vesak Poya Day, with inspections continuing today (13), stated PHI Union Secretary Chamil Muthukuda.
