A 13-member parliamentary committee has been appointed to oversee the implementation of actions assigned to Parliament under the National Anti-Corruption Action Plan 2025-2029.

The committee, chaired by the Deputy Chairperson of Committees, is tasked with providing leadership and overseeing the implementation of the actions assigned to Parliament under the plan.

The decision to appoint the committee was taken at a meeting of the Committee on Parliamentary Business held on 25 September.

The nominated Parliamentarians are Harshana Nanayakkara, Sunil Watagala, Dr Kaushalya Ariyarathne, J C Alawathuwala, Anuradha Jayaratne, Shanakiyan Rajaputhiran Rasamanickam, Oshani Umanga Hapuarachchi, Prageeth Madhuranga, Chandima Hettiaratchi, Darmapriya Wijesinghe, Dewananda Suraweera and M Nizam Kariapper.
