The Customs Trade Union Alliance stated that if issues regarding promotions, salaries, and other pending matters are not resolved immediately, members may take trade union action.

The alliance highlighted that officers have been awaiting fair treatment for six years and are prepared to safeguard their rights.

It noted that authorities would bear full responsibility for any economic or public impact arising from such actions.
