The total number of dengue cases reported in Sri Lanka this year has surpassed 100,000 as of today (28), according to Acting Deputy Provincial Director of Health Services for the Western Province, Specialist Dr. Navinda Soysa.

He noted that while daily cases have declined compared to previous months, the risk has not completely subsided.

Seven provinces remain at a high-risk level for dengue, with the public urged to follow health guidelines.
