Sri Lanka’s Ayurvedic Medical Service will appoint 303 new graduates, the largest single recruitment since 2018.
The appointment ceremony for the graduates, including community health medical officers, is scheduled for 3 November at the Colombo District Secretariat Auditorium.
The Department of Ayurveda is undertaking the recruitment, which addresses vacancies for Primary Grade Medical Officer (PGMO) posts and aims to strengthen local healthcare.
The newly recruited officers, who completed one year of comprehensive training, will be deployed across the country, focusing on improving patient care and expanding coverage in areas dealing with kidney diseases.
