Sri Lanka Head Coach Sanath Jayasuriya has stated he will step down after the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup.

He confirmed his decision in response to an inquiry, noting he will not continue despite having a valid contract.

Jayasuriya was appointed Head Coach in 2024 and oversaw 60 matches across all formats.
