The government is preparing a code of cybersecurity guidelines for officials involved in curriculum development and textbook review.

A discussion on the guidelines was held at Temple Trees yesterday (06) under Prime Minister(PM) Harini Amarasuriya, with the Task Force on Digitalization of Education for Grades 6–13.

The Prime Minister directed officials to develop a comprehensive framework on online safety, digital wellbeing, and cybersecurity for education sector personnel.
