The Sri Lanka Veterinary Association announced that full medical and safety arrangements have been made for ‘Aloka’, the rescue dog set to take part in the “Walk for Peace” in Sri Lanka.

The association stated that a 24-hour ambulance service, essential medicines and dedicated medical teams have been deployed.

A specialised emergency response team has also been placed on standby to ensure the dog’s safety.

‘Aloka’ is recognised globally as a symbol of peace, with authorities assuring the highest level of protection during the event.
