Court of Appeal Judge Mayadunna Sri Mevan Anthony Edirimannasuriya Corea has been appointed Acting President of the Court of Appeal by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

He was sworn in before the President at the Presidential Secretariat this morning (21).

The appointment is effective while the current Court of Appeal President, President’s Counsel Nalin Rohantha Abeysooriya, is overseas until 24 September.
