Former President Gotabaya Rajapaksa gave evidence before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court today (29) in connection with proceedings before the Jaffna Magistrate’s Court over the alleged abduction of social activists Lalith Kumar Weeraraj and Kugan Muruganandan.

The recording of evidence was concluded for the day, with further proceedings adjourned until 27 November.

The Colombo Magistrate’s Court also ordered Rajapaksa to appear before the court on 27 November to provide further evidence.
