The Colombo Municipal Council (CMC) has resumed vehicle parking fee collection across its jurisdiction from today (23).

The Municipal Commissioner stated that operations returned to normal from 6.00 a.m.

The CMC noted that fee collection was suspended from 18 March due to traffic congestion near fuel stations.

The CMC also stated the situation has improved following the National Fuel Pass system and fuel distribution by vehicle registration numbers.
