The Natural Hazards Early Warning Centre has issued a "Warm Weather Advisory – Extreme Caution Level" for over 20 districts, warning of high temperatures across Northern, North-Central, North-Western, Western, Southern, and Eastern Provinces, including Ratnapura and Moneragala.

Authorities urge the public to stay hydrated, avoid outdoor exertion, check on vulnerable individuals, and never leave children in vehicles.
