Secretary to the President Nandika Sanath Kumanayake met François Valérian, Chair of Transparency International, during his visit to Sri Lanka.

Kumanayake outlined government initiatives to combat corruption, strengthen accountability, and raise public awareness.

Valérian praised measures such as Internal Affairs Units and the Clean Sri Lanka Programme, stressing the need for continued government–civil society collaboration.
