International Monetary Fund (IMF) First Deputy Managing Director Gita Gopinath met President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in Colombo today (16) during her official visit, praising Sri Lanka’s economic reform progress. 

She stressed the need to maintain momentum for lasting stability. 

Her visit marks the first by an IMF Deputy MD since 2005.
