State Minister of Water Supply, Sanath Nishantha, tragically lost his life in a traffic accident in the early hours of today (25).
The accident occurred on the Katunayake Expressway when the Land Cruiser V8(KP-7684), in which the State Minister was traveling, collided with a prime mover from behind.
The State Minister was swiftly transported to the Teaching Hospital Ragama, but, unfortunately, succumbed to his injuries.
