President Anura Kumara Dissanayake visited the headquarters of the Amarapura Maha Nikaya in Wellawatte today (19) and met the Supreme Mahanayake Thero, Karagoda Uyangoda Maithree Murthi Mahanayake Thera.

The Maha Sangha chanted Seth Pirith and invoked blessings for the President’s future responsibilities, according to the President’s Media Division.

The President also held discussions with senior monks of the Amarapura Chapter during the visit.
