The Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has filed indictments at the Colombo High Court against former State Minister Shasheendra Rajapaksa and two others.
The indictment includes 10 charges involving alleged corruption linked to obtaining Rs.8.85mn in compensation.
CIABOC says the accused allegedly used official influence to pressure officials at the Office for Reparations over property damage claims.
The case includes 30 witnesses and 38 documents, with further legal proceedings to follow.
