The Natural Hazards Early Warning Centre of the Department of Meteorology has issued an advisory for naval and fishing communities to exercise caution in the Bay of Bengal deep-sea areas.

Authorities have warned that wind speeds in these areas could reach up to 65 kmph, with seas becoming rough to very rough. 

Multi-day boats operating in the region are advised to be vigilant and take necessary precautions for their safety.
