The Ministry of Health has appointed new directors to 17 health institutions across Sri Lanka, with appointment letters presented by Health Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa.

The appointments include directors for Castle Street Hospital for Women, De Soysa Hospital for Women, Mahamodara Teaching Hospital, the National Eye Hospital and Matara General Hospital.

The ministry also appointed new provincial, regional and programme directors to strengthen the country's public health services.
