Sri Lankan Minister of Foreign Affairs Ali Sabry undertook an official visit to Singapore from 7 - 9 July at the invitation of Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore Vivian Balakrishnan.

Minister Sabry had a discussion with the Foreign Minister of Singapore on enhancing relations between both countries, recognizing shared opportunities and challenges.

During the visit, Minister Sabry also met with Senior Minister and former Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong, and the Minister of Home Affairs and Minister for Law of Singapore, K. Shanmugam. 

He also participated in an event organised by the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICCI) and the Reuters Next Asia Pacific Summit, which was held on Tuesday (9).
