The Government Medical Officers Association (GMOA) will continue its token strike until 8 AM tomorrow (13), despite the arrest of the main suspect in the sexual assault of a female doctor.

GMOA Secretary Sugath Sugathadasa confirmed the continuation of the strike after meeting with the Minister of Health.

Accordingly, he stated that the association stands firm in ensuring such crimes are not left unchallenged and condemned the incident, vowing to continue until justice is served.
