Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath held talks with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the sidelines of the 33rd ASEAN Regional Forum in Manila, the Philippines.

Herath stated the discussion focused on strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation between Sri Lanka and the United States.

He also held separate meetings with Indian External Affairs Minister Dr S. Jaishankar and Bangladeshi Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman.
