Two children were rescued by Sri Lanka Navy personnel after a jet ski overturned at Gregory Lake in Nuwara Eliya.

The 11-year-old and 13-year-old children, from Minuwangoda, were rescued by Navy personnel deployed for lifesaving duties at the lake.

They were later handed over to the Nuwara Eliya Police.
