A total of 508 suspects were arrested during island-wide police operations conducted yesterday (06) under the 'A Nation United' national anti-drug programme.

Police noted that 27,054 individuals were inspected during the operation, while 20 suspects linked to criminal offences and 142 wanted suspects were among those arrested.

Another 65 individuals were arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, while 122 were taken into custody for reckless driving.
