Two major LP gas shipments have arrived in Sri Lanka, with distribution set to begin immediately to ease supply concerns.
Laugfs Gas PLC announced that a vessel carrying 3,500 metric tons of LP gas is scheduled to arrive in the island today (28).
CEO Nalinda Kurukulasuriya stated that the stock unloaded at midnight will be released to the market from midnight onward.
Litro Gas Lanka confirmed the arrival of another vessel carrying 3,700 metric tons of LP gas.
The company said distribution of this stock commenced this morning.
Litro Gas Lanka currently releases approximately 1,200 metric tons of LP gas to the market on a daily basis.
