The Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE) is scheduled to inspect the Norochcholai Power Plant today (6) to address concerns related to coal importation. 

COPE Chairman, Parliamentarian Nishantha Samaraweera, stated that the inspection will involve participation from both government and opposition members. 

A thorough review of the coal importation process for the power plant will be conducted, and a comprehensive report on the findings will be prepared.
