The Norton Bridge–Sri Pada road via Ginigathhena and Diyagala, closed since 14 June due to bridge collapse risks, was reopened this morning (24). 

The Road Development Authority (RDA) completed the construction of a new Bailey bridge, allowing vehicular traffic to resume.
