The Department of Meteorology has issued a warm weather advisory for the Northern, North Central, Eastern and North Western provinces, as well as Monaragala and Hambantota districts, for tomorrow(18).

The heat index is expected to reach the ‘Caution’ level in some areas during the daytime. Prolonged exposure to the sun and outdoor activities could cause fatigue, while continued exertion may lead to heat cramps.

The public is advised to stay hydrated and limit strenuous outdoor activities.
