Sri Lanka claimed two gold medals and a silver at the 4th SAAF South Asian Senior Athletics Championship in Ranchi, India.

Chamod Yodasinghe became South Asia’s fastest man, winning the Men’s 100m in 10.30 seconds and setting a new championship record, while Pasindu Malshan took gold in the Triple Jump with a leap of 16.19m.

Viknaraj Vakshan won silver in the Men’s 5000m event.
