Police arrested four bus drivers and two conductors during a drug detection operation carried out at the Horana Main Bus Stand yesterday (11).

The operation screened 151 drivers and conductors of passenger buses operating from and through Horana.

Police said the six suspects tested positive for narcotic substance use while engaged in passenger transport services.

Four buses operated by the arrested drivers were also taken into custody. Investigations are continuing by Horana Police.
