The National Water Supply and Drainage Board has announced a 12-hour water cut in Padukka and surrounding areas from 8:00 p.m. today (05) until 8:00 a.m. tomorrow (06).

The Board said water production at the Labugama Water Treatment Plant and Kalatuwawa Water Treatment Plant has been limited due to rapidly declining reservoir levels.

As a result, water supply to areas served by these facilities will be temporarily restricted during the scheduled period.
