Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has launched a relief operation for flood-affected people in Sri Lanka, immediately dispatching relief aid and a rescue team.
The package includes vital items such as rescue boats, life jackets, and dewatering pumps.
A mobile field hospital is also being deployed to provide immediate medical care.
Additionally, Pakistan Navy Ship SAIF, currently in Colombo for the International Fleet Review-25, handed over humanitarian relief supplies.
The navy aid included food, emergency medicines, and first-aid kits to support ongoing national efforts.
