Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa stated that no decision has been taken to restrict school operations due to the fuel situation.

He noted that the current school term will continue until 10 April.

Schools will remain closed only on Wednesdays, with sessions conducted four days a week.

The Minister stated the decision aims to maintain continuity in education.
