A businessman has been arrested in Hokandara with five high-powered motorcycles that cannot be legally registered in Sri Lanka, police said.

The raid was carried out by the Homagama Divisional Crimes Investigation Bureau based on a tip-off.

Police also seized two forged number plates during the operation.

Further investigations are being conducted by Athurugiriya Police.
