The Ministry of Defence has issued a set of guidelines for implementing the programme to support communities affected by disasters.

The guidelines, endorsed by the Ministries of Finance and Planning and Public Administration, Provincial Councils and Local Government, have been circulated to District and Divisional Secretaries.

They outline the responsibilities of officials involved in relief distribution and provide details on allowances and assistance to be provided to affected families, ensuring a coordinated and transparent approach to disaster support.
