A pilot low-floor bus service aimed at providing safe and accessible transportation for persons with disabilities and those with special needs was officially launched today (21) at the Makumbura Multimodal Transport Center.  

The initiative was launched under the “Clean Sri Lanka” programme, with Minister of Transport Bimal Ratnayake presiding over the event.
