The final Randoli Perahera of the Kandy Esala Festival will parade the streets tonight (08) from the Sri Dalada Maligawa at 6:51 p.m.

The procession will follow its traditional route through central Kandy before returning to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic.

Early tomorrow, the four Devale Peraheras will perform the water-cutting ceremony at Getambe, while the Dalada Maligawa Perahera will join them later in the day for the concluding rituals.

The festival, which began on 25 July, will officially end tomorrow with the presentation of the Sannasa to the President in Kandy.
