The Sri Lanka Navy opened a new Reverse Osmosis (RO) drinking water plant on 29 January in Aralaganwila, Dimbulagala, Polonnaruwa.
The Navy stated the facility was established under its Naval Social Responsibility (NSR) project, with support from the Ministry of Health and funding from the Presidential Secretariat.
This is the Navy’s 1,148th RO plant.
The plant will supply clean drinking water to residents in the area.
