The United States Navy vessel USS Canberra has departed Colombo after completing a successful port call in Sri Lanka, the Sri Lanka Navy stated.

The ship was accorded a traditional naval farewell upon departure from the Colombo Harbour.

During the visit, the vessel’s Commanding Officer paid a courtesy call on the Commander of the Western Naval Area at the Western Naval Command Headquarters, further strengthening naval ties between the two countries.
