Sri Lanka Navy arrested 25 Indian fishermen early this morning(16) for allegedly fishing in Sri Lankan waters in the Palk Strait.

The Navy noted that the fishermen had crossed the International Maritime Boundary Line (IMBL) in two mechanised boats.

They were taken to Kankesanthurai for further action.

The two boats were also impounded for investigations.
