A. K. S. Indika Kumari Liyanage, the Commissioner General of Examinations, has issued a warning to candidates sitting for the 2025 G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) Examination to pay careful attention to the official timetable.

Speaking at a media briefing ahead of the exam, which starts tomorrow (17), she emphasized the importance of adhering strictly to the published schedule available on the Department of Examinations' official website and Facebook page.

Liyanage also highlighted that the sequence of subjects scheduled for the 5th to the 8th days of the exam has been revised from previous years. 

She urged students to verify they are following the most current and accurate timetable to prevent any confusion or mistakes during the examination.
