A Fundamental Rights petition has been filed by Pastor Jerome Fernando with the Supreme Court of Sri Lanka asking to issue an order preventing his arrest by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) today (26)
An arrest warrant has been issued for the arrest of Jerome Fernando for publicity speaking I'll of other religions in his sermons.
President Ranil Wickremesinghe has informed the CID to conduct a comprehensive investigation into the matter.
