The death toll from adverse weather conditions across Sri Lanka has risen to 643, according to the Disaster Management Centre(DMC).

DMC stated that a further 184 people remain missing following the severe weather that has affected the country in recent days.

All 25 districts have been impacted, with 1,364,481 people from 391,401 families affected nationwide.
