Former Minister and MP Ravi Karunanayake has arrived at the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) to provide a statement over an ongoing investigation.

The investigation concerns allegations that three employees recruited for a special National Lotteries Board (NLB) project were deployed for political activities, causing financial loss to the Government.

Karunanayake had previously failed to appear before CIABOC and was later given an alternative date to provide his statement.
