The Department of Meteorology has issued an ‘Amber’ advisory for severe lightning in five provinces and four districts.

The advisory is in effect until 11.30 p.m. today (13).

Thundershowers with severe lightning and temporary strong winds are possible in affected areas. The public has been advised to take precautions.
